About
Volunteer Handyman Services
Welcome to Edy's Handyman Services, your trusted local handyman based in Dundas Valley, proudly serving families and homeowners across Parramatta and the surrounding Greater Sydney area.
Who I Am
Hi, I'm Edy — the face, hands, and heart behind Edy's Handyman Services. I started this business because I believe every home deserves quality repairs without the hassle, delays, or inflated costs that so often come with hiring a contractor. Whether it's a leaking tap that's been driving you crazy for weeks, a door lock that won't budge, or a long list of small jobs you've been putting off, I'm here to get it done — properly, promptly, and affordably.
I take pride in showing up on time, communicating clearly, and treating every home like it's my own. No job is too small, and no question is a silly one. My goal is simple: leave your home better than I found it, and leave you confident you've got a handyman you can call again and again.
What I Do
I offer a wide range of home repair and maintenance services, including:
- Locks & Doors — lock replacements, door adjustments, and security fixes
- Plumbing — tap repairs, leak fixes, and minor plumbing maintenance
- Electrical & Lighting — light fixture installation, switch and power point replacement (non-licensed work only, with licensed referrals for anything requiring certification)
- Painting — touch-ups, feature walls, and small painting projects
- Furniture Assembly — flat-pack furniture, shelving, and mounting
- General Repairs — the everyday jobs on your to-do list that never seem to get done
If you're not sure whether your job fits, just ask — chances are I can help, or I'll point you in the right direction.
Why Choose a Local Handyman
Big companies come with big overheads, and that usually means bigger bills for you. As a local, independent handyman, I keep things simple: fair pricing, honest quotes, and real workmanship. When you call Edy's Handyman Services, you're not talking to a call centre — you're talking directly to the person doing the work.
I'm based right here in Dundas Valley, which means I know the area, I understand the types of homes and issues common to Parramatta and surrounding suburbs, and I can usually get to you faster than a larger service.
My Approach
- You reach out — call, text, or message with what you need done
- I provide a quote — clear and upfront, no hidden surprises
- We schedule a time that works for you
- I get the job done — efficiently, safely, and to a high standard
- You enjoy the result — and know who to call next time
Service Area
I currently serve Dundas Valley, Parramatta, and surrounding suburbs within Greater Sydney. If you're just outside this area, reach out anyway — I'm always happy to consider a short drive for the right job.
